Just a (one-of-a-kind) small town girl, born and raised (in Central Florida) in this crAzzyyy worRlldd.... who is just trying to make this life a little more FUN. Find the humor in everything. ;)

After spending 10 years helping the seniors in my community save money with their healthcare, because they were struggling everywhere else in life too, I decided to pivot and try to help the rest of us to Not get like that.. Unless you are actively involved with the senior community and making home visits, I don't think many of you understand the hardships you could face by not properly planning for your future. I've met many a senior who never thought they'd live to be as old as they are, let alone the shape they are in now for thinking that.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, being the neighborhood kid hangout house, eating delicious food that I didn't have to make myself, and kicking butt at some Super Mario and Guitar Hero.

Every appointment is personal

You will be treated as a person with needs and not as a number for sales. Your agent will not abandon you after the appointment. Your agent is there to stay with you as a contact point and liaison should you ever need help with your plan. While agents do not have company/carrier customer service access to your account, we can help guide you in finding a solution to your concern, should you ever have one. We are here to help you.

Ways we can help you include but are not limited to:

Educate you on your current coverage and benefits. (Sometimes we just need a reminder.)
Educate you on other options available to you—or simply reassure you that you are on the correct plan to fit your needs.
Assist you with applications for Medicare Savings Program, Low-Income Subsidy for Rx costs, etc.
Help you locate medical services as needed.
Be a liaison if you are having issues with your health insurance.
Enroll you into a plan.

The difference between a Captive Agent and a BROKER Agent

Captive Agent

These are insurance agents who represent ONE company. They (usually) have managers who require sales quotas and push their agents to meet them—which in return, pressures them (to sometimes pressure you) to make sales or face repercussions such as write ups or losing their job. I know this because I used to be one. While I always did the right thing—and faced the repercussions—I decided to part ways on my own to pursue an independent lifestyle where I did not have to live like that. If you have previously had a meeting with a captive agent, their plan may in fact be the correct option for you. It has happened many, many times. But it is still wise to make sure you are aware of all of your options. This is where your BROKER comes in.

Broker Agent

We at Insurance All-Stars are broker agents. Brokers are independent agents contracted with multiple carriers who are not biased about any particular plan—giving you multiple options to choose from versus one. If it is great for you, it is great for us. Your broker will take into account all information from your personal needs analysis to search for a plan that best fits all of your needs and requirements. Brokers at Insurance All-Stars have no quotas to meet and no risk of losing their job so it is easy to help someone with a plan or simply let them know that the decision they have already made was a great one.
